Article 18 bis, from Act no. 100 of year 1985 and Act no.1 of year 2000 regarding the reorganization of Certain Terms and Procedures of Litigation in Personal Status cases,

" If the child has no money, his maintenance will be the responsibility of his father and the children maintenance continues to be on the father until the girl gets married or earning enough money to support herself and until the son reaches 15 years old and is capable of earning adequate sum money. However, if he reached 15 years old and he wasn’t capable of earning money for physical or mental reasons or due to the reason that he still a student who needs an appropriate education as the other boys in his age and he cannot support himself, for these reasons the father is responsible for his children maintenance and providing a living house for them within the limits of his financial ability. The children are entitled to maintenance from their father from the day he refused to financially support them."
